Related Committees

The Social Justice Committee organized two autonomous committees and supports their efforts:

Environmental Issues:  Recognizing the importance of protecting our environment and adopting a healthy lifestyle to minimize individual impact on the environment, the members of the Social Justice Committee fully support the efforts of the Environmental Committee.

Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender Committee (GLBT):  The GLBT grew out of the UUCY’s commitment to social justice.  The Congregation voted to becoming a “welcoming congregation” in the early 1990s.  .
