Be Welcome in This Special Place

Unitarian Universalists take pride in practicing radical hospitality. Our congregation is a welcoming place for newcomers. You need not be a member of our congregation to participate in most aspects of congregational life, from joining in worship to serving on committees.
As a newcomer to our congregation, feel free to attend Sunday worship services and other congregational events to help you get familiar with this Special Place. If you wish to make a long-term commitment to UUCY and participate in the business of our congregation, you may choose to become a member.
Unitarian Universalism is organized on the congregational polity model, which gives greatest authority to individual congregations to call their own ministers and otherwise determine their affairs. Members get to vote on governing our affairs at our two congregational meetings (September and May).
