UUCY is following safety protocols based on the risk level defined by the CDC.
As of mid-September, York County is classified by the CDC as an area of substantial transmission, or a "red" zone. York County is experiencing around 200 new confirmed cases per day (45 for every 100,000 residents) and around 3 deaths per week. On average, each person with COVID in York County is infecting 1 other person. This means that COVID continues to spread at a constant rate in York County.
Recognizing these conditions, striving to serve the needs of the community to be connected in fellowship, and respecting the guidance of health professionals, UUCY has adopted these policy changes while in the red zone:
UUCY mandates masks and social distancing for all indoor and outdoor events. UUCY will not permit food or drink at any indoor event. UUCY will only allow groups under 10 to meet indoors.
