Feeling anxious about the upcoming 2024 election?
UUCY and other local organizations will host a number of communal pastoral care and social justice fellowship opportunities during election week. As always, please reach out to Rev. Christin if you would like to receive private pastoral care. Mon, Nov 4 - Candlelight Vigil for a Peaceful Election, 7:30pm Join the York Friends meeting for a nondenominational bipartisan evening of spoken word, silence, and song. Gather at the Friends Meeting House located at 135 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA. For more information, email [email protected]. Wed, Nov 6 - Evening Post Election Prayer Vigil at UUCYork, 6-8pm Regardless the outcome of the 2024 election, Rev. Christin, Weeping Beech, and available Pastoral Care Associates will provide pastoral space to reflect and share, pray or meditate for the nation and the world. We will gather in the Carriage House. Fri, Nov 8 - Morning Post Election Prayer Vigil on Zoom, 9-10am Rev.
