Sunday, April 27 at 10 AM with Christine Harrop-Stein
Grace-full Aging
Old age is neither a disability, nor something to be treated or cured. Rather, aging is a journey, sometimes mysterious, that is best travelled with an open mind and heart. Join Christine as she explores conscious aging and how to grace-fully navigate the ups and downs of growing older.
Christine Harrop-Stein, PhD, is a gerontologist, health educator, and certified sage-ing leader. Having recently retired from York College of Pennsylvania where she taught gerontology, Christine has turned her attention toward volunteering for Sage-ing International, Pappus House, and the Pastoral Care Team at UUCY. She and her husband, Jon, have been members of UUCY for about 25 years. They live in York with their two young adult children, three chill cats, and one exuberant labradoodle.

Social Justice NewsOur Post-election prayer vigil was created a peaceful sanctuary where community members could gather to sing hymns, light candles, and find solace in shared reflection during contentious times. The event offered a welcoming space for quiet contemplation and mutual support, allowing participants to process their thoughts and emotions while fostering a spirit of unity and hope.
