Our Purpose: Through action and partnership, the UUCY makes a commitment to welcoming and affirming individuals and families of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Our UUCY LGBTQIA+ Equality Team:
- has hosted the PFLAG York Support Group (Parents, Friends, and Family of Lesbians and Gays) since 2003. Their monthly meetings are held in the Carriage House Library on the 3rd Tuesdays from 7-9PM.
- has partnered with the Rainbow Rose Center to host regional Pride events, including the family- and child-oriented Equality Fest, Jr. for three years, and co-sponsors with Equality Fest on an annual basis.
- hosts regular Ranch Movie events, often screening LGBTQIA+ centric films, on Saturdays (contact Frank Williams for more information).
- started the LGBTQIA+ Young Adult Support Group, Spectrum York, in February 2019. The group meets three times a month:
- First Tuesdays for Support Group Meetings in the Carriage House Sun Room from 7-9PM
- Second Saturdays for Social Queer/Peer Gaming in the Carriage House Upstairs from 5-9PM
- Third Saturdays for Support Group Meetings in the Carriage House Sun Room (or Upstairs) from 7-9PM

UUCY’s LGBTQIA+ Equality Team Leader: Charles Kress has been an active UUCY member for over 20 years. He serves as the ongoing host and agent, and is the current Treasurer, for PFLAG York. He currently is on the board of the Rainbow Rose Center (York County's LGBTQIA+ resource center).
