There is so much that goes into providing what UUCY offers everyone of us – worship and spiritual growth and religious education, our beautifully maintained campus, important social justice work and a supportive community. Who gets all this work done? Besides our amazing paid staff (Rev Christin and Sarah) it is all done by VOLUNTEERS in the name of shared ministry. So, a huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who contributes their time and talent to UUCY in so many ways.
The Nominating Committee is beginning its annual charge to fill open Board and Standing Committee chair positions. The Committee will present a slate of candidates for election at the May Congregational Meeting. See below the open positions the Committee is seeking to fill. If you can contribute your time, talent and passion to UUCY to fill any of these positions, or if you know a member who you think possesses such, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee. Volunteering is a wonderful way to feel deeply rooted into the UUCY community. Volunteering is a way of expressing your belief in UUCY. If everyone contributes something, all the work is lighter.
