Endowment and Planned Giving

The generosity of members and friends have made possible the establishment of trust fund accounts from which our congregation benefits.  The trust funds provide additional revenue to support our ministry, operations, congregational initiatives, and social outreach.   We are filled with gratitude for these endowments.

Currently Two Funds Exist: 

• UUCY General Endowment Fund
• Margaret Weiss Fund

​UUCY retains professional fund management to achieve consistent returns within a moderate risk tolerance over the long term. Our goal is to generate sufficient income returns to enable regular distributions while maintaining the value of principal. To the extent practicable, investment decisions, which reflect UU values and contribute to positive social and environmental change are preferred.
