LGBTQIA+ EqualityWe are a Welcoming Congregation, recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association. This means we affirm and include people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer at every level of congregational life—in worship, in programs, and in social gatherings—welcoming them as whole people.
As a Welcoming Congregation we have pledged to:
|
We recognize that there’s always something more to learn and remain open to deepening our understanding of the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people.

UUCY @ York County Pride!
The first in-person York County Pride is occurring on Saturday, June 11th from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Cousler Park. UUCY is a sponsor and we have a table at the event! We need congregants to help with setting up the space, providing information about our faith and our congregation, and packing things up. Please sign up for a time slot and responsibility that you are comfortable with and be ready to Live Your Values and put your Faith into Action! |
Our Purpose
Through action and partnership, the UUCY makes a commitment to welcoming and affirming individuals and families of all sexual orientations and gender identities. If you are looking for an affirming religious community or seeking someone to officiate your wedding, ceremony of union, or other special event, you are welcome here. For ideas on partnerships, ways to get involved, or to join the conversation, contact Team Leader Charles Kress at [email protected].
