“There is always something to do. There are hungry people to feed, naked people to clothe, sick people to comfort and make well. And while I don't expect you to save the world I do think it's not asking too much for you to love those with whom you sleep, share the happiness of those whom you call friend, engage those among you who are visionary, and remove from your life those who offer you depression, despair and disrespect.” ― Nikki Giovanni

Our Commitment: Share the Plate Partnerships
UUCY shares half of all our donation plates each month with a local community organization, what we call Share the Plate (STP). Our Share the Plate partners are identified through input from the Congregation and decided upon by the UUCY Social Justice Committee. We use the STP to cement our commitment through generous donations to our local partners.
Do you have an Organization you would like Social Justice to consider for UUCY's Share the Plate Partnership program in the next fiscal year? If so, and you are a member or pledging friend, please click the button below and fill out the form. Hard copies of the form are available at the Visitors Desk or on the Social Justice Stand.
