Share the Plate Partnerships
What is Share the Plate?
UUCY shares half of all our donation plates with a local community organization, what we call Share the Plate (STP). Our Share the Plate partners are identified through input from the Congregation and decided upon by the UUCY Social Justice Committee. We use the STP to honor our commitment to service to our local community through these generous donations to local partners. ![]() Our Share the Plate Partner for the month of April is the Watershed Alliance of York. Their mission is to improve York County's water, making it cleaner and healthier for all. They envision that in the 21st century and beyond, generations of York County citizens and stakeholders will enjoy healthy communities, economic sustainability, and environmental quality, through locally-led watershed conservation, education, and stewardship initiatives restoring, enhancing, sustaining, and protecting the balance between humans, renewable and nonrenewable resources, and our environment.
