December 21 @ 6:00 PM - Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk led by Rev. Jen Raffensperger
Please join Rev. Jen for a 30-minute service on the evening of the Winter Solstice honoring the sacred dark, the time of growth and renewal, and the promise of light’s return.
The Winter Solstice has become important to both humanists and pagans, who can find common ground in celebrating this occasion. For everything there is a season—a time to die and a time to be born. With the arrival of winter’s low dark sky, communities around the world look to the miracle of light as a sign of rebirth and a source of hope. We celebrate the promise of new life and recommit ourselves to the protection of everyone’s right to his or her own radiant humanity. This is an outdoor, in-person event. Dress warmly! |
